# x402 Preflight Launch diagnostics for x402 API developers. Check your endpoint's payment configuration, discovery metadata, schemas, and compatibility signals, with evidence and fix recommendations. Read-only checks: no test purchase, settlement or paid-delivery verification, code changes, or guaranteed marketplace indexing. Buyer-side inspection remains available. Check your x402 endpoint before launch or while debugging payment configuration and client compatibility. Buyers may also use the same read-only checks before authorizing a purchase. These Preflight capabilities never sign a payment, forward buyer credentials, or spend USDC on the target. ## Canonical capabilities 1. inspect_x402_endpoint — POST https://x402.chikocorp.com/api/preflight/inspect — free 2. audit_x402_endpoint — POST https://x402.chikocorp.com/api/x402/preflight/audit — x402 $0.05 3. order_x402_remediation — POST https://x402.chikocorp.com/api/x402/preflight/remediation — x402 $5 The free check returns a live challenge and comparison policy decision. The technical audit returns deeper evidence immediately. The diagnostic purchase returns a durable order receipt; authenticated JSON/Markdown findings and fix recommendations are delivered asynchronously, not in the receipt. No implementation or human consultation is included. max_price_usd is a caller-selected comparison policy for the target, not our service fee. A price-limit BLOCK does not establish that the integration is broken, and ALLOW is not launch certification. Compatibility alias (same audit, price, and report; not a fourth capability): GET https://x402.chikocorp.com/api/x402/preflight/audit?resource_url=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fapi%2Fresource&method=GET&expected_network=eip155%3A8453&max_price_usd=1 The GET alias requires resource_url in the query string and accepts optional method (GET or HEAD only), expected_network, and max_price_usd parameters. A request with no query parameters at all is an unauthenticated discovery probe and reaches the x402 challenge; duplicate, unknown, empty-valued, unsafe, or non-scalar query parameters are rejected before the challenge. Input example: {"resource_url":"https://example.com/api/resource","method":"GET","expected_network":"eip155:8453","max_price_usd":1} The live 402 challenge is authoritative for price, network, asset, receiver, and Bazaar extensions. Reports expire and do not guarantee future settlement or delivery. ## Interfaces - OpenAPI: https://x402.chikocorp.com/openapi.json - MCP Streamable HTTP: https://x402.chikocorp.com/mcp - x402 metadata: https://x402.chikocorp.com/.well-known/x402.json - Agent metadata: https://x402.chikocorp.com/.well-known/agent.json - Manifest: https://x402.chikocorp.com/manifest ## Labs and compatibility Separate opt-in product: x402 Launch Verification. Contract: https://x402.chikocorp.com/verification/openapi.json. Page: https://x402.chikocorp.com/verification.html. Disabled by default; explicit consent and a spending cap are required for service-wallet purchases. Not part of the read-only MCP tools. Legacy wallet readiness, market data, weather, repository snapshot, marketplace, webhook, and signer-helper routes remain available but are not primary agent capabilities. See the manifest's labs section. ## Documentation (short, checkable answers) - How to check an x402 payment configuration before launch: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/how-to-check-x402-payment-configuration.html - x402 resource listed in the catalogue but buyers cannot find or pay it: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/x402-listing-not-showing-in-bazaar.html - x402 endpoint returns 200 without a payment challenge: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/x402-endpoint-returns-200-without-charging.html - Discovery requirements for x402 catalogues (OpenAPI + x-payment-info): https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/x402scan-discovery-requirements.html - What is x402?: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/what-is-x402.html - How to add x402 to an Express API: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/how-to-add-x402-to-express.html - x402 vs Stripe (per-call billing for APIs): https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/x402-vs-stripe.html - Index of all notes: https://x402.chikocorp.com/docs/ Each note states what a read-only check observes, how to reproduce it, and what it does not prove.
